Well, it is still early here...but I have already got up, had breakfast, went to work for 5 hours and then came home...my in-laws got in just fine on Tuesday, but now we are waiting for two more to come on the plane...they don't get in until 8pm. I can only hope they get here okay at this point. The snow is still coming down, yesterday it almost looked like fake snow. You could see the individual flakes and it was really cool. I should have taken a picture of it, but didn't. Today it is tiny little flakes...too tiny to see, but they accumulate enough that if you are indoors about an hour, you have to wipe off the car again to see. Tonight we are supposed to get an additional 6-10 inches. Two of my co-workers have already asked that I come and get them on Friday for work. I LOVE driving in the snow so I am happy to do it. I just had one little hitch today, brand new windshield wipers that weren't working. Hopefully I can get that straightened out. So...I have started decorating the table for tonight. I think we will have Christmas Eve dinner at 9pm tonight...it is light...french onion soup and a candle salad. I will have cheese and crackers, veggies, etc in case people are interested. There will be 6 of us. I ordered a centerpiece from the local florist...it looks LOVELY!! If you live in Liberty Lake and need an arrangement...http://www.gardengateatthelake.com/ My tablecloth and napkins are also pictured here. I picked up the napkin rings at the Davenport Hotel...just the perfect simplicity I was going for...I hope to add the full table scape and then of course post my Christmas one sometime in the next couple days as well. My husband and I were in France and Spain this September so we decided to have a very French Christmas. Tonight, the french onion soup...tomorrow crepes for breakfast, cassoulet for the main course and madelines for breakfast on Friday morning. Should be fun!! I just had some hot chocolate, the tree is lit, sounds of the washer and dryer going, quoi? Anyway...hope everyone has a happy holiday! Don't go too nuts!
